This excellent dive site situated in Nusa Penida is great for marine life. It consists of a slope with nice coral and no current which makes it an easy dive site. The highlight of this dive site are the manta rays. The cleaning station is located a little out to the west of the bay, close to the center. When there are many divers it is sometimes preferable to move away from the cleaning station to observe this giant creatures from the sides of the bay or in the blue.
At Crystal Bay you will see schools of anthias and batfish which comes around periodically. A bat cave is located nearby. There is a beautiful white sandy beach at Banjar Penida, west of Sakti village on the north western coast facing Nusa Ceningan. Crystal Bay is one of the few places in the world where one can see the awesome mola mola.
