Where Is Located?
This temple is located in Rata Hamlet, Klumpu Village, Nusa Penida. The location is on the top of Mundi Hill which is the highest land in Nusa Penida. The height of this temple is 521 meters above sea level. You will travel about 45 minutes from Nusa Penida Harbor.
The road to the temple is full of inclines and winding because it is at an altitude of 521 above sea level. But you don’t need to worry because the road to Puncak Mundi is paved so it is comfortable to pass. Even though. You should check the condition of the vehicle you are going to ride before leaving because the road when going up is quite steep. In addition, you have to bring warm clothes or a jacket because the place is very cold.

Usually Hindus who will perform tirta yatra to Nusa Penida first pray at this temple. After that, they will head to Pura Dalem Ped. This temple consists of three temples, namely Krangkeng Temple, Beji Temple, and Puncak Mundi Temple.
The padmasana building in this temple is unique because it has a seam and four different pillars from the other padmasana. This Padmasana is decorated with stylized kala and tendril motifs which are symbols of Shiva Buddha. In addition, there is a large wantilan in the temple area.
This temple consists of side jaba, middle jaba, and offal (innermost). The difference between this temple and others is that the Jaba Tengah Temple is wider than the offal area. In addition, in this temple there are still many monkeys that are not yet tame. So, you have to be careful if you want to visit this place.
