Broken Beach in Nusa Penida (called “Pasih Uug” by Bali locals) is certainly one of the most beautiful spots on this Indonesian island! It is most famous for the large naturally-made cove and perfectly arched rock formation that allows the waves to flow in and out of the ocean.
Broken Beach is such a unique spot that’s rich in both history and natural beauty, so it’s definitely one of the top things to do in Nusa Penida. Here’s everything you need to know before you go!
Broken Beach is located on the west coast of Nusa Penida Island, which is about an hour off the coast of Bali. It’s also near Angel’s Billabong and on the same side of the island as Kelingking Beach.
Walk to Broken Beach
If you park at Warung Angel Billabong, you will start your adventure here walking down some rocky stairs for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the famous Angel Billabong.
After you admire and enjoy Angel’s Billabong, you keep walking another 5 minutes until you reach Broken Beach. The path is very noticeable, so if you just keep following it along the coastline you can’t miss Broken Beach.
