Angel’s Billabong is an incredible green infinity pool perfectly situated between two cliffs and flowing into the Indian Ocean along the coastline of Nusa Penida island.
Where Is Located?
It’s located nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site on Nusa Penida with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. With its emerald hues and crystalline waters, the Angel’s Billabong is the epitome of stunning. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide.
What to Expect at Angel’s Billabong?
When you leave the parking lot, you will take some rocky steps along the coastline for about 7 minutes until you reach Angel’s Billabong. Once you get there you will see a striking bright green inlet between two coastal cliffs.
Along the edge from above you can admire the beauty of the still emerald water in contrast to the huge crashing waves along the rest of the coastline. There are a number of viewpoints of Angels Billabong, however most of the visitors is going down in the infinity pool itself. When you reach in the infinity pool itself you will see the water is clear as crystal with its emerald hues.
